About the Event

Join us for a 90-minute Partner Thai Massage Workshop led by Nashville-based Licensed Massage Therapist, Janaye Williams. This beginner-friendly workshop is open to all — no prior massage experience required, just a willingness to learn and have fun! You’ll be introduced to the foundations of Thai massage, a practice that blends assisted yoga stretches, acupressure, and rhythmic pressure to enhance flexibility, promote healing, and relax the body and mind. Working with a partner, you’ll learn simple yet powerful techniques designed to support recovery, ease tension, and strengthen connection. Whether you’re curious about Thai massage or simply looking for a playful and restorative way to unwind, this workshop offers a welcoming space for everyone to participate. Come ready to move, stretch, and leave feeling renewed!


What You Will Learn:

  • Thai Massage Fundamentals:An introduction to the history, principles, and theory of Thai massage. 

  • Assisted Yoga Stretches:Learn to use your body to help guide a partner through passive stretches, similar to yoga poses. 

  • Practical Application:How to apply these techniques on each other in a supportive and comfortable environment. 


What to Expect:

  • Hands-On Practice:You will work with a partner to both give and receive massage. 

  • Comfortable Environment:Workshops are designed for all levels, with a focus on clear instruction and a supportive atmosphere. 

  • No Experience Needed:Previous yoga or massage experience is not required, making it accessible to anyone interested. 

  • Mindful Connection:An opportunity to deepen connection with a partner through touch and shared relaxation. 


What to Bring 

  • A yoga mat and a comfortable cushion or blanket.

  • Warm, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.

  • A partner to share the experience. (If you have a partner in mind, great! bring them along. If not, no worries at all, you'll be partnered up at the workshop)
